Registration Process

Step 1: Prepare Your Materials

Step 2: Access the Copyright Office

Go to copyright.gov registration and create an account in the eCO (electronic Copyright Office) system.

Step 3: Complete the Application

Fill out Form SR (Sound Recording) or Form PA (Performing Arts) depending on what you're registering. The online system will guide you through each section.

Step 4: Upload and Submit

Upload your music files as deposit copies, pay the $65 fee, and submit your application. Processing typically takes 2-3 months.
